Guidelines for Application Form

  • Name of applicant

Name of the person who represent the group and who will communicate with Listaleypurin throughout the process.

  • Genre/Art Form

Specify the type of art involved: visual arts, music, theatre, dance, design, illustrations, literature, storytelling, film, interdisciplinary works, or other.

  • Target Audience

Artists must indicate the age group(s) the school visit is designed for. Activities may cater to multiple age groups or be more suitable for a specific age group. It is also essential to specify the group size for the activity. For instance, a visit can be divided into smaller workshops for hands-on experiences and larger groups for performances or exhibitions at the school.

  • Short description of performance, workshop and/or exhibition

(No more then 70 words) To be used in the program and tells the schools what the pupils will experience and learn during your visit

  • Detailed description. (maximum 30 lines)

The selection jury will look at the artictic quality and how the experience will be executed in an school environment. Applicants should explain how the school visit adds value to the educational experience, both during and after the activity. The committee evaluates artistic quality and considers alignment with the curriculum, availability of follow-up materials, and how the visit connects to students’ everyday lives to make the project relevant.

  • Technical or other requirements

Clearly outline the requirements for facilities, technology, lighting, sound, preparation time, teardown, etc., so schools can assess if they can accommodate the visit. The selection committee also ensures the project is suitable for touring.

  • Selection Process

The selection committee evaluates both the artistic quality and the project’s relevance to schools. Applicants must document their project and attach a CV as well as proof of experience, such as news articles, audio recordings, images, film clips, or similar materials. Digital links to platforms like MySpace or YouTube can be included. The committee has agreed not to review applications where the quality of the activity cannot be verified. Applications from the Faroe Islands and other countries are evaluated using the same criteria.

  • Budget

There is no need to attach a budget. The committee sets a fee ranging between DKK 25,000 and 50,000 for five school visits, regardless of production costs. This fee is a fixed amount, and no additional expenses will be reimbursed.

  • Application Deadline

Extensions to the deadline are only granted if the committee decides to extend it, typically due to a lack of sufficient applications or if the quality of submissions is deemed inadequate. The annual application deadline is January 15.
